Jewish Heritage Tours:

Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and its largest city. It serves as a meeting point for the three monotheistic (believing in one God) religions – Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Jerusalem was blessed with many important sites among them the City of David, the Kotel tunnels, the Tombs of the Kings and many many more.

We will begin the day with an extraordinary vista of the city from Mount Scopus and then visit David's Tomb on Mount Zion.

We will continue along the Cardo, an ancient Roman street, and observe the relics of the wall of Solomon's Temple. We then will visit the Jewish Quarter and the four Sephardic Synagogues dated from the 16th century that were restored after the Six Day War of 1967.

We will continue to the Davidson Center and tour the Western Wall diggings and the Western Wall and end the tour in Mea Shearim where we will learn about the special lifestyle of the orthodox community.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah in Jerusalem:

Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations at the Western Wall – connecting to your Jewish roots and identity. Arriving at the Kotel, the Western wall, is a very exciting moment for every Jewish family. It is a moment of realization and linkage to the Jewish history since this is the greatest religious and national center for all Jews.

We will meet at the Jaffa Gate, view the Old City and listen to an introduction on the city. We will then walk the Old City walls and exit from the Zion Gate, visit the King David Tomb and continue along the walls until we reach the Dung Gate, enter it and continue to the Kotel. We will visit the Kotel tunnels – underground spaces along the Western Wall – and the Muslim Quarter and see houses of various periods.

You may choose to visit the chain of generations – an exciting tour telling the story of the Jewish people over time – from exile to revival.

We then will continue to the Jewish Quarter, visit the Cardo – a main street dated from the Roman period – and walk the Arab market.

We will end the tour in a special restaurant.

Bar Mitzvah at Masada

A tour from childhood to adulthood closing a 2000-year cycle threaded with memories you will never forget. Masada – a tale of Jewish devotion striving for freedom by fighting for its principals, heritage and freedom. A Bar Mitzvah celebration on Masada will be an unforgettable experience connecting past and present.

We will begin the day very early in the morning and take the Snake Path up the Masada to see the sunrise from the North Palace. Then we will continue to the synagogue located on the mountain and read the Torah and lay phylacteries (Tefilin).

After the ceremony, we will take the cable railway down and have a fancy breakfast in the new restaurant recently opened on the site.

We will visit the Masada museum, an adventure that draws you into the fascinating story of Masada.

We will listen to the historic story of Joseph Ben Matityahu (Titus Flavius Josephus) and experience the kingdom of Herod until the fall of Masada.

We will top the adventure in a relaxing visit to the Dead Sea shore and enjoy a special opportunity to bath and float on the water famous for its healing abilities.
